President and CEO, Rashonna Moore is passionate about public relations and she knows her forte. Rashonna is a “news junkie” and “media magnet” that has authored feature stories, celebrity profiles, business and consumer issues, travel issues, health, home décor features, artist profiles, and music and book reviews, for both local and national publications, and our agency prides itself on a long and successful history.
Writer-Journalist-turned Publicist, Rashonna knows how to attract media coverage and has been penning articles for local and national publications for over 22 years. CPP has assisted its clients for a decade with dynamic and creative public relations solutions. Her press releases have resulted in numerous interviews and media opportunities for her clients. From establishing compelling copy that resonates with target audiences, to creating unique and results-oriented publicity programs, Moore produces results. She specializes in public relations, media relations, communications, social media consultant / expert as well as including proactive article generation and bylined article placement and in writing compelling copy that sells.
Rashonna's clientele includes high profile artists, celebrities (actors, actresses, musicians & entertainers), physicians, entrepreneurs, Fortune 500 companies, authors, comedians, and many more. Prior to launching CPP in 2007, she was a widely read writer, journalist, and editor. She is a contributing writer for local and national media outlets , newspapers, and magazines. She has also written for and has had articles published in RuleYork.com magazine, The Gazzette, 15th st News, The Daily Oklahoman, Style, Essence and many others.
Rashonna has also honed her expertise as an Editor for 15th st News, and worked as a Public Information Specialist & Producer for Fox News, where she investigated and recommended story ideas for the producers, and received and investigated news tips for “Breaking News; so she knows what editors are looking for. In addition to her client's work in the U.S. and abroad, she has lived in the Philippines and works at Fox. She has a Bachelors degree in Journalism and a Masters of Art degree from The University of Central Oklahoma.
Rashonna is a member of NAB, SBE, NABJ and Women in PR. She is also passionate about art. Her love affair with art and writing led to her producing & directing films. She was named an “film innovator” by ruleyork magazine in 2013, and she has received Proclamations from the ABFF in Miami , Florida, in 2013 (as one of her shorts was featured in the spotlight of Miami) and the Dead Center Film Festival Oklahoma City , Oklahoma, in 2015. Her first short film was featured on BET's Johnson & Johnson "lens on talent" in 2008. She was featured in other publications throughout her career in journalism and PR.
In her spare time, she loves to travel, visit beaches, museums, collect art, read, and attend film, art & jazz festivals. In realization of her life-long passion for writing and film Rashonna has been working on several film projects. The latest film was premiered at the Dead Center film Festival in 2015 entitled "Where Have all the Fathers Gone" (a documentary about the growing epidemic of absent fathers from African American households) following its premiere is was featured in several film festivals in 2015.
